The House

The house where the hostel is was built in the 1920s………… and from the 1970s-2000 it was used for offices before the three guys Alfredo,Fernando and Felix decided one day while remembering their own travels as backpackers that this would make a great hostel right in the centre of miraflores and closer to anything than any other hostels around with better facilities. They started the project of converting the second and third floor of this building into a hostel and after 12 months of intense refurbishments and construction they opened it up in May 2005 and have steadily built a name for themselves since.

In January 2006 loki hostel came along with a proposal to finish the project as the best backpackers in Lima by adding our ideas into the building and installing the values that we as backpackers know what people like. We like a place that is clean, offers good facilities within the hostel and has a fun feeling and atmosphere about the place that makes people want to stay for longer periods and easy to meet others and all at an affordable price to the average backpacker.
