Due to the heavy rains that have been falling in recent days, there are significant problems in the Cusco region and routes to Machu Picchu are currently blocked. There will be no tours or treks leaving for the Sacred Valley or Machu Picchu for what looks like at least 3 days.The Peru rail lines are currently blocked but repairs are being conducted, with a view that if the rain stops and the lines are cleared train services can resume.At Loki Hostel in Cusco, all other trips and tours sold by the tour desk at this stage will still be running and we will be accepting reservations and guests as normal. We will also be raising funds from our Pub Quiz in the hostel this week, to support locals who have lost their homes and crops as a result of the weather problems.
