Alen arrived in Loki La Paz in January 2008 after a grand total of 9 days travelling. He hasn’t moved since. A young multi-lingual Slovenian with a penchant for mowhawks, tattoos and piercings, Alen isn’t half as scary as he looks! When asked to stop drinking wine straight out of the bottle, Alen decided to drink it out of a pint glass instead.

Celeste Woolley
Assistant Manager of Loki Cusco
Celeste worked behind the bar for a few weeks in December 2007 and impressed so much that we demanded she come back to work full time. If you hear Reggaton music being played in the bar, chances are she has put it on! While excellent at helping Jesse to run and manage Loki Cusco she has a bad habit of loosing everything, most notably her cell phones.

Daithi O Coigligh
Founder/Co-Owner and General Manager of Loki Lima
Daithi`s calm and charming nature is renowned, but don´t let it fool you, this Kildare man takes his drinking seriously! With an almost limitless supply of woolly jumpers, he is quite easy to spot in the relatively humid and hot Lima climate. He is known to be a great bass player, although you wouldn’t know it from his performance at the Loki Cusco 3 year anniversary party.

Dave Cassidy
Founder/Co-Owner and Head Office Manager
Hailing from Waterford, Dave has an Excel and soccer addiction and will happily discuss Manchester United with anyone who will listen. This fatherly and true Irishman keeps an eye on all the hostels and is a huge help to the managers, his generosity of spirit also has helped quite a few travellers and staff down the years.

Dre Cole

This giant of a man started his Loki Life in Loki La Paz. He didn’t have a reservation and isn’t a man to queue. Then he found the bar. He is half German, half English but all heart. His love of food is incredible and not just eating it either. This man can cook. He claims to have cooked for the Queen of England but we think he might be making it up.

Dror Tirosh

Without Dror, Loki would not exist. His drive, enthusiasm and dedication has meant that he has spent most of the last 5 years sleeping in Loki building sites. His clothes are scattered between all the hostels. He is, by his own admission, never wrong although sometimes he isn’t completely right either. He is now a father of a gorgeous little girl called Mia. This has put some pressure on the rest of the Loki Lads! His trousers are usually too tight.

Emma Day
Head Office Assistant Manager
Over the last three years Emma has left Loki Cusco and come back so many times that we just had to make her part of the Loki team. It was truly painful watching someone who loved Loki so much have to go back to the real world so many times! The ever-reliable Londoner who loves a glass or 10 of white wine is now our women in charge of Lokis new Head Office in Lima.

Jake Osborne
Co-Owner since November 2008 and Co-Manager of Loki Mancora
Hailing from Rugby in the West Midlands Jake arrived in Loki Cusco early in 2007 for a short visit and didn’t leave for 14 months. He moved on to be one of the owner/managers in Mancora where by day you will see him lounging by the pool pretending to work. Chances are by night you will not recognise Jake as he has this strange ¨dress up like a women¨ fetish.

Jesse Ferguson
Founder/Co-Owner and General Manager of Loki Cusco
It is quite easy to find Jesse`s office in Cusco as you will hear the Jane`s Addiction and NOFX playing while a bearded Kiwi air-drums to his heart content. Jesse often gets flirtatious reservation requests from prospective guests who think that Jesse is a girl. Sorry to disappoint lads, but he is a full blooded male, into his surfing, fishing and of course drumming. He is partial to a dram of whiskey as well.

The Only Native Irish speaker in the Group and a proud Dubliner, Osgur can be found at his happiest, Rum in hand, waxing lyrical to anyone who pulls up a chair or playing one of his legendary music mix’s in the bar.

Reception Manager Loki La Paz
Richard is the ever-present and supremely efficient Reception Manager in Loki La Paz. He has been with Loki since we opened in La Paz and has proved himself invaluable. His love of Chelsea FC leads to plenty of banter between himself and Dave (Man Utd).
