This is a great one day trip for anyone who enjoys biking. This is an enjoyable day trip which includes visiting not only Maras and the Inca ruins of Moray but also the famous Salt flats!

Full itinerary:
The entire group meets at 9:00 a.m. to go to the local bus station to start the trip. The bus trip takes approximately one and a half hours to the village Chequerec (Chinchero) located at 3650m.a.s. where we start our ride. The ride last 1 hour and 20 minutes. Our first stop is the archaeological site” Moray” (3575 m.a.s.l.) We spend around 30 minutes visiting the site enjoying the beauty of the nature and archaeology. The road to Moray is initially flat with slight inclines (10Mt. max). This part of the tour is very attractive and exciting because of its permanent ups and downs. Continuing our trip we arrive to Maras where a tasty picnic is waiting for us. After our 1 hour downhill ride we feel the peace of the Andean countryside. After a hearty lunch you will be ready to go on riding to the terraces of salt mines in Maras (1:20 aprox) start biking again downhill for approximately 40 minutes to the Sacred Valley. Here we finish our tour and return to Cusco at approx. 6:00pm.
